RACHEL KIDD

My education and experiences have taught me to appreciate all elements of costume making. However, I especially enjoy the details required to finish a costume to a high standard. Hand finishing, embellishment and textiles all help me to bring characters to life.  Tutus and costumes for ballet are of particular interest to me, as I love the sparkle and creativity of a design as much as the technical engineering of the costume. My future goal is to broaden my skills across a range of costume disciplines to keep challenging myself both technically and professionally.
