I represent the mature student contingency and came to prove that at any age anything is possible.  I had previous experience in pattern cutting and design, but saw this course as an opportunity to expand on my knowledge and enter a previously unknown, to me, world of costume making.  I have thoroughly enjoyed the course, feel I have gained valuable skills, had work experience opportunities and gained advice direct from industry representatives of costume, historical dress and creative pattern cutting to name a few.  I look forward to the opportunities and different pathways on offer after completing my degree.
